Courses:  General Art- Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd,
                  4th and 5th grades
Art gives students the chance to connect and encourage self-expression. It builds confidence and a sense of individuality. Students are taught art appreciation and are exposed to various artistic styles, artists, and cultures.
I encourage my students to learn about the world in which they exist by questioning, finding answers, and using that knowledge to grow as a person. I use both student-centered and teacher-focused learning. Combining styles allows for organization, cross-curricular lessons, and the freedom of student choice.
I have the unique opportunity to work with my students for six years, K-5. Allowing me time to get to know my students and watch them as they develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and sense of self.

Art is about becoming the creator, being the artist!
