The mission of the Big Spring Art Department is to provide an educational experience that teaches students to:

CREATE engaging and purposeful works of art in varying media and styles,

RESPOND to art using interpretation and analysis of works of art through global and personal connections,

PRESENT works of art that show the development of an independent artistic vision,
